I saw Tori Amos play with the Metropole Orchestra last Wednesday and I took a screenprint from one of our second year workshops along for her to sign. There was a big group of us waiting and a guy came out saying she'd have half an hour for the meet and greet, and that we could have either a photograph or one thing signed. We were quite near the beginning of the line and managed to get both, but the guys around her were trying to get people moving along quickly. I think she liked the print, she was pointing to the collar and remembered that it was from a photoshoot in Paris. It was quite nice to see that she was actually looking at it and wasn't too concerned about rushing.
The concert was fantastic, it was great to see her so obviously enjoying every minute.
Here's a portrait that may or may not be in progress.
